High-Voltage Electrical Safety & Mechanical Disclaimers

Recreational vehicle electrical systems present severe electrical shock, electrocution, arc flash, and explosive fire hazards. A 50-amp 120/240-volt AC shore power service carries sufficient current to cause instantaneous fatality. Furthermore, deep-cycle flooded lead-acid and AGM battery banks generate volatile hydrogen gas during bulk charging cycles, presenting explosive risks if terminals are bridged or shorted.
